Academic

I am an economics PhD student at George Mason University. My fields of interest are Public Choice, Public Finance, Constitutional, Law and Economics, and Experimental Economics. I am currently teaching and working on my dissertation, "Political Entrepreneurship, Positions, and Power: A network based analysis of political entrepreneurship and municipal corporations," with Professor Richard Wagner at George Mason University. I am fascinated by social network based analysis and believe that this is the most dynamic way of viewing the world and the actors in it. We are all embedded in a network and it shapes the opportunities available to us and choices we make.

Personal
I am a huge animal lover and spend most of my time working with a local rescue group, Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation. I foster shy dogs and kittens all year round so our house is a bit of a zoo and pet hair is decorative. We have three dogs of our own: my spunky terrier Mamah, our shy shepherd Lucia, and our ridiculously happy pitbull Apollo. We also have two cats, Meya and Myle, to balance us out and keep us sneezing. When I'm not researching or rescuing, I enjoy painting and have organized several community murals.
